We’re winter caretaking at an off-season fishing lodge in Haida Gwaii, BC, Canada for 8 months—completely remote and all alone! We feel so grateful to call this stunning island home for the season and to be surrounded by its incredible nature and wildlife. This journey is giving us the chance to fully embrace the mental challenges and rewards of remote living.
